For 30 years, Operation Holiday Hope has been one of Metro World Child’s most powerful outreaches — sharing the love of Jesus through the simple gift of a Christmas present and the life-changing message of HOPE.

What began on the streets of New York City has now grown into a global movement. This Christmas, we’re celebrating our 30th Annual Operation Holiday Hope by reaching 1.7 million children across the U.S. and around the world!

What Operation Holiday Hope Is All About

Each year, Metro teams and local partners bring Christmas gifts and the Gospel message directly to children living in some of the toughest areas on earth.
For many of these boys and girls, this is the only gift they’ll receive — and often the first time they’ll hear that they are loved by God and have hope in Jesus.
