What does it take to become a Metro World Child Ambassador?
It doesn't have to take a lot! The most important thing is a willingness to get involved in whatever way you can so that you can make a difference in a child's life.
How much time is needed to be an Ambassador?
The time each Ambassador spends depends on the Ambassador’s personal capacity. The most effective way to be an ambassador is to raise awareness in your everyday settings.
How will I be equipped as an Ambassador?
Depending on your geographic region, you will be provided with culture and language appropriate tools and ideas to start with.
Is there an age limit (or requirement) to be an Ambassador?
We have an 85-year-old Ambassador who raised funds in her church and is attending our Brooklyn Boot Camp program. We also have an 8-year-old who baked and sold cupcakes to feed hungry children in Kenya.
Aside from fundraising, how else can I be involved as an Ambassador?
While fundraising is the most basic project you can take on, there are also various other ways to be involved, such as recruiting child sponsors. There are also businesses and schools who became involved in this program through customized long-term projects.
